Our friends from Home-Ed Spanish session at Cafe Delight - Community Hub & Cafe have been working really hard on their letters for their Spanish pen pals 😄

They got to practice the phrases we have been learning for the past few weeks

'¿Cómo te llamas?' Me llamo ...
'¿Dónde vives?' Vivo en ...
'¿Cuántos años tienes?' Tengo ... años

They have practice their question words in Spanish aswell, realising they are important to start our questions.

¿Qué?/ what?

¿Cómo? / how?
¿Por qué? / why?

Awwwwwe today at baby group at Holton Le-Clay Cricket Club we visited the farm and learned what to call our favourite farm animals in Spanish!

We also listened to a very famous Spanish song about a vaca 🐄 named Lola that has a cabeza (head) and has a cola (tail)and we realised that we can use the same song tune for:

El perro 🐕
El gato 🐈
La oveja 🐑
El b***o 🫏
El caballo 🐎

Gracias to the families that join us and make Little Amigos Spanish Club a group full of curiosity and eagerness to learn!

Today at Imagine Louth CIC for our Home-Ed Spanish session, our amigos really enjoyed the scrabble tiles we used to put in practice the new words!

We reviewed vocabulary from previous sessions with help from our flashcards and 'the catchy song' (as they like to call it) hahaha 😆

Then we learned about Mi familia and we made family trees 🌳 to reinforce the subject of the day.

Today at Little Twinkles Childcare we started with our new program Ven a Jugar con Milo y Mapi our new Spanish friends because Caramelo has gone back to Spain for a while.

We learned some numbers whilst playing hide and seek number and working motor skills with the jumping game
