When your learners love forensic science so much.... ππ
Happy 18th Ellie!
Over the last 6 months we have been designing and building a brand new Crime Scene Studio for our learners, which today it was used for the first time!
Our first year learners have completed their initial crime scene assessment in order to review the CCTV footage and evaluate their process, organisation, communication and teamwork skills. Over the coming weeks we will work together continuing to review the footage and develop these skills and behaviours to process a crime scene professionally using current industrial practises to retain the importance of documentation and evidence integrity to be admissible in court.
Great start to the first week of term with our induction activities. Our new learners have been busy with laboratory practicals including microscopy skills, biological drawings & micro-pipetting to identify an unknown.
They have also taken part in tours, our flipgrid challenge & the induction assessment.
Very excited to be working with these guys over the next two years!
