The Beijing Winter Olympic Opening Ceremony was a couple of days ago; let's learn some new words about the Olympics in Mandarin Chinese:
1.Olympic Opening Ceremony: Àoyùnhuì kāimùshì 奥运会 开幕式
2. Winter Olympic: dōng ào huì 冬奥会
3. Olympic Motto: ào yùn huì gé yán 奥运会格言
4. Faster: gèng kuài 更快
5.Higher: gèng gāo 更 高
6.Stronger: gèngqiáng 更 强
7. Olympic Flame: ào yùn huǒ jù 奥运火炬

# Happy Chinese New Year #
This week is Chinese New Year "春节" (Chūnjié - "Spring Festival") or “中国新年” (Zhōngguóxīnián - "Chinese New Year"). It starts on a new moon and ends on a full moon - Lantern Festival Day.
#1: I am holding the characters of the Chinese word for Tiger 🐯 "Hǔ虎”，Because this year is "虎年" (Hǔnián) the year of the 🐯.
#2: You can see many red decoration and I am holding Happy New Year "新年快乐" (Xīnniánkuàilè).
#3: I have reunion dinner "团圆饭" (Tuányuánfàn) with friends, meeting up with family or friends is very common, it is like Christmas in other countries.
