Yesterday I drove over to the East coast to go to the Scottish Pagan Federation Conference. We'd a great day and I got to meet lots of friends including Mystik Heart and had a good old catch up, also with Marion Kirk, I finally got to meet the Artist Julia Jeffrey, had a natter with Wynn from Wynn Abbott who graciously signed the book I bought, thank you. I now have some more beautiful pieces for my collection of books and cushions 😍

I'm also so happy to have taken in a talk by the lovely Dr Claire Askew ( ) who discussed the witch trials past and present which was tremendous, fascinating and incredibly moving. Her talk spoke a lot about her ancestor Anne Askew, she then went on to talk about other accused whom she'd also written poems about in her book "How to burn a woman". I set up and organised the very first book club for a charity I used to be in, I bought Claires book before and I'd asked Claire to be my chosen Author to speak to, which went down a storm, and again Claire graciously dedicated my book for me. I told her that since the book club zoom that I've never forgotten Anne Askew. We had a really good chat and it was great to finally meet her.

I didn't take many pics but I had an eye-rolling moment to see how the papers and media portray Pagans 🙄, one even done an article on how Bourbon biscuits were used in ceremonies!!, yeah they usually go with a cup of tea!!. I also met a lovely wee ferret who's name escapes me 🤗😍.
