Introducing our New Community Hub.
Hi my name is Joleen Azevedo and I am bringing over 20 years of experience creating, managing and delivering community-focused projects, specialising in developing inclusive programs that support individuals of all ages, family units, within the Borough of Great Yarmouth and wider communities.
My role as Community Hub Leader is to work with you understanding your unique needs and then collaboratively create opportunities that drive personal growth and strengthen community resilience.
I work across the four Norfolk Creative Education Trust schools, Woodlands Primary Academy, Wroughton Primary Academy, Lynn Grove Academy and Caister Academy.
Some areas of development include –
Community events
Skill sharing sessions, bringing people together to share and learn new skills
Life skills such as cooking, money management, service information drop-in’s
Family fun sessions such as math’s café, arts and crafts, book club
Volunteering opportunities
Ready for work/employability skills, including TA work placements, CV and covering letter workshops
Including our School Uniform Campaign: Supporting Families & Reducing Waste
We’re proud to have partnered with Harrisons and Screens School wear which gives you the opportunity to donate pre-loved, good-quality school uniforms. Which we will then redistribute to families in need across our community, easing financial pressure and helping to reduce clothing waste.
