Hard work, commitment and resilience pay off at GTS
The class of 2026 reunited to collect their hard earned and well-deserved GCSE results on a day of celebration and success. The cohort will be fondly remembered as the βlocked inβ generation, a group who came together with their staff at the start of the year to ensure that they gave all they could in pursuit of their own personal goals.
GTS was proud to see so many of its young people be rewarded for their own individual efforts with the vast majority of pupils securing the qualifications they needed to move on to the step in their education or training. There were notable successes for Ella, Amber, Daisy, Jack, Eddie and Tabitha achieving 7 or more GCSEs Grade 7 -9, with Ella incredibly securing 4 at Grade 9.
As a collective GTS was pleased to see progress and success across all abilities and areas of the school, with initial outcomes showing 3% improvements in Grades 9-4 and 7% at Grades 9-5.
This year has shown that when the hard work of pupils combines with dedicated staff and supportive parents amazing things can happen. Congratulations to you all and good luck in the future!
