Some of our Christmas crafts over the last few weeks!

It just remains for me to wish all of my wonderful families the best Christmas and see you in 2023! (Please don’t turn up before the 3rd January or you might find me drunk on Baileys!! 🤪)

Some lovely Christmas outings this week - a trip to the local garden centre to see the beautiful a displays, a Christmas party with all our friends, singing at a local care home and a gingerbread trail - what fun 🤩

Whatever happened to our snowman?!
⛄️⛄️⛄️⛄️⛄️⛄️⛄️⛄️⛄️⛄️⛄️⛄️⛄️⛄️⛄️
We went into the garden today and our snowman was gone! And our frozen flowers and Peppa Pig characters were all swimming in water! We talked about the snow and ice and how it freezes when its cold and melts when it gets warm. A little science lesson for the children today x

This week we learnt about how things freeze 🥶! We poured some water into our containers and left them overnight in the garden to see what happened. In the morning they were solid ice! 3 days later they are still ice! Maybe they will turn back to water by next week! I hope so 🤞🏻

A few photos from road safety week last week - a road safety walk, learning our traffic light colours, setting up a play tray with our little cars, vehicle puzzles and a colouring and scissor skills activity 🚗 🚦

What a lovely morning spent with the children at the Uttlesford Community Hub. Warm and inviting, lovely relaxing music playing, lots of beautiful toys & books and somewhere to get a good cuppa - and we had the place to ourselves! If you get a chance to visit - then do!! Thank you, we will be back!

Poppy week - We had fun with our poppy activities at Sue’s this week - we made a poppy wreath and took it to the church, made poppy biscuits and made poppies with loose parts play.
It was also lovely walking through the high street today and seeing all the poppies in the shop windows.
A lovely week indoors & out.
