11/02/2026
A small number of 11+ preparation spaces will be opening this September for children entering Year 4 and Year 5. These sessions are designed to build confidence, strengthen core skills, and introduce the parts of the exam that aren’t taught in school, all within a calm, structured, and encouraging environment.
What’s Included
- CGP 11+ workbooks for Verbal Reasoning, Non‑Verbal Reasoning, and Maths
These come home each week for short, manageable practice.
- Weekly small‑group sessions
Limited numbers ensure tailored teaching, individual feedback, and a supportive atmosphere.
- Clear, step‑by‑step approaches to every question type
Children learn how to think, not just what to answer.
- Exam‑technique coaching
Timing, pacing, and strategies for staying calm when a question feels tricky.
- Growth mindset from day one
We build resilience, confidence, and the belief that effort leads to progress.
Why Start Early? (Especially for Year 4)
Starting in Year 4 or early Year 5 gives children:
- Time to become familiar with skills not taught in school
- A gentle introduction to Verbal and Non‑Verbal Reasoning
- Space to build confidence without pressure
- A strong foundation before timed practice and mock tests begin
- The chance to develop calm, consistent exam habits
Children who start early make steady, secure progress — and avoid the stress of trying to learn everything at once.
What Sets Study Bunnies Apart?
- I’ve learned techniques from some of the UK’s leading entrance‑exam tutors
- Over the last two years of successful 11+ teaching, I’ve learned exactly what works for Wirral/GL preparation
- My approach blends research‑based teaching, emotional regulation, and practical exam skills
- I explicitly teach children how to stay calm in the face of panic, using simple regulation strategies
- I know from experience that leaving it too late significantly reduces a child’s chances — early, steady preparation is key
Who These Sessions Are For
- Year 4 pupils beginning early 11+ preparation
- Year 5 pupils sitting the 2027 exam
- Children who benefit from small groups, structure, and clear routines
- Families who want a warm, encouraging tutor who understands both the academic and emotional side of the 11+
Limited Places Available
I only open a small number of new spaces each September to maintain quality and individual attention.
A Priority List will open first and families on the list get first access to available slots.
If you’d like to join the Priority List or chat about your child’s needs, just send me a message.
