Today the children enjoyed dressing up in football kits and playing football outside they practiced scoring goals and kicking the ball to each other. They coloured in england flags and decorated footballs with coloured paper. For cafe they decorated their own biscuits with white icing and sprinkles . They had their faces painted and watched some football on the C-Touch we then finished off the day with a cool icepop outside โ˜€

Friday was a very busy day we started off our morning with a special visit from Merseyside fire brigade , the children were excited to meet the firemen and see the fire engine. They got to use the hose and sit inside the fire engine and we even listened to the loud sirens. In the afternoon we celebrated Fathers day with a special stay and play with Daddies Grandads and special grown ups the children loved showing them around and having some special treats.

On Friday we had some very special visitors come to Preschool... The children got to meet and hold some snakes geckos a snail and a tortoise. All the children were very brave and held all 3 snakes they asked lots of questions about what the reptiles eat and how big they are going to grow! At the end we all had a turn of holding Poppy the python Well done Miss Haynes for facing your fears ๐Ÿ

Lots of fun learning about Under the Sea ๐ŸŒŠ the children have created their own octopus by doing finger prints and used brushs to discover Sea creatures in frozen ice . The children have been practicing their fine motor skills by cutting lines and following the pattern , today we said goodbye to our butterflies they were ready to be released and we watched them fly away the children have loved watching them change from a Caterpillar into a Butterfly ๐Ÿฆ‹

A busy week of learning all about how we recycle for the planet, the children coloured in their own earth pictures and explored in messy green gloop! They learnt all about our different coloured bins and what goes in each one. We spent time over at the nature garden watering the vegetables and looking for bugs and Butterflies, our Caterpillars have gone into their cocoons ready to turn into Butterflies the children are very excited for them to come out and have been waiting patiently. They all practiced their fine motor skills by threading pasta onto pipe cleaners , the children then counted how many pieces of pasta they had.
