Our Holiday Cooks had a brilliant time making Banana Bread Donuts this morning! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳 They mashed, mixed and filled their donut moulds before popping them in the oven to bake. 🍌✨

While their donuts were cooking, they got busy making a delicious snack to enjoy! 😋

This afternoon our Holiday Cooks were busy creating these delicious Lemon Crinkle Cookies! 🍋🍪

They had so much fun learning how to zest a lemon, filling the room with the amazing fresh citrus smell before mixing everything together to make their tasty cookies.

While their cookies were baking, it was time to become secret spies! 🕵️‍♂️🕵️‍♀️ The children wrote hidden messages using invisible ink before revealing them with their very own magic solution. The excitement on their faces as the secret messages appeared was priceless!

Our Holiday Cooks definitely approved of today’s bake! 🍋🍪 It was a thumbs up all round for our delicious Lemon Crinkle Cookies… and they must have been tasty because most of them disappeared into hungry tummies before they even made it home! 😋

Whilst they were baking, it was time to become secret agents! 🕵️‍♀️✨ The children had so much fun writing invisible messages and using our magic solution to reveal them.

🍋🍪 Our Holiday Cooks had a fantastic time mixing up their delicious Lemon Crinkle Cookies this morning. Everyone had a turn using the zester, and there were lots of giggles as we watched the lemon juice spray everywhere! 🍋✨

The fun didn’t stop there… 🕵️‍♀️🕵️‍♂️ We transformed into secret agents, writing hidden messages with invisible ink before using our magic solution to reveal them. The looks on their faces when their messages appeared were priceless! 💌✨

✨ Our Holiday Cooks had a fantastic time making these delicious Lemon Crinkle Cookies this afternoon. 🍋🍪 Along the way, they discovered how a zester works and watched the lemon juice spray as they squeezed it.

This afternoon’s activity turned everyone into top secret spies! 🕵️‍♀️🕵️‍♂️ The children wrote hidden messages using an invisible ink, then revealed them with a “magic” solution. The best part? Hearing all the reactions from the adults… we’re not entirely sure who enjoyed it more, the children or the grown-ups! 🤭

🍪✨ Our Holiday Cooks had an amazing time making these delicious Lemon Crinkle Cookies – they must have tasted incredible because not many made it out of the hall! 😋

The children loved making their pictures, and there were so many “ooohs!” as they painted on the magic solution and watched their artwork transform before their eyes. 🎨✨

Little Cooks - Friday 4:00pm

That’s a wrap for Term 6 with our Little Cooks! ✨

What a fantastic way to finish the term! The children had an amazing time getting wonderfully gunky but made some delicious Focaccia Bites. 🍞👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

Our herb tasting investigation certainly got everyone talking! As always, we explored the herbs using our eyes, fingers, noses, and taste buds. This group gave almost everything a thumbs down… except the dill! Apparently, it tastes just like grass… ?! 🙈🤣

Thank you to all our wonderful little cooks for another fantastic term. We hope you all have a brilliant summer, and we can’t wait to welcome you back next term! 💚

Well done to our Little Cook who completed his tasting chart and took home Percy the Pear.
