The why is so important

I am again able to offer an interesting day to gain an industry recognised Emergency First Aid at Work Certificate.
This is a one day course, to be held at a venue to suit you, for up to 12 participants.
The certificate is suitable for Pony Club Instructors, Livery yard owners/managers, volunteers, parents, as well as being valuable for riders themselves.

Gain knowledge on -

•Legislation, what it means to you as an equestrain person
• How to initially assess an incident,
• When and how to call for emergency services,
• Gain confidence in managing the incident
• Learn, CPR, use of a Defibrillator, how to control bleeding, treatment of wounds, burns,
preventing infection. Along with other skills required in our outdoor situations.

The aim of my courses is to learn skills using suitable scenarios to build your confidence when attending an incident relating to your type of work.

Having taught First Aid over the last 10 years to Equestrians and attended a fair few incidents myself I have a deep understanding of what additional support I can offer to this First Aid qualification.
