This summer, we’re taking young artists on a creative journey around the globe through fine art, colour and imagination 🌈

Across the workshops, children will explore a wide variety of exciting projects inspired by famous cities, landmarks, wildlife and artists from around the world. From soft pastel cityscapes and watercolour landscapes to inks, charcoal and acrylic painting — every session is designed to help children build real artistic skills in a fun, encouraging environment.

With a 1:6 teacher-to-student ratio, every child receives plenty of guidance and support while developing confidence, creativity and new techniques along the way.

🎨 Term-time classes are back this week!

We’re looking forward to welcoming all of our young artists back to classes on Thursday and Saturday after the half-term break ✨

This week, the children will be trying something a little different as we introduce a new medium to the curriculum — ink and markers 🖊️🎨

It’s a fantastic medium for exploring colour, line work, and creativity, and we can’t wait to see the unique artwork that the children create.

🎨 What a fantastic May half-term we've had!

It’s been wonderful to welcome so many children through our doors over the holidays. We’ve loved meeting new young artists, as well as seeing many of our regular students enjoying the workshops too ✨

Over the week, the children created some amazing artwork, explored new materials and techniques, and most importantly had lots of fun along the way.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the workshops such a success. Seeing the creativity, confidence and enthusiasm from all of the children has been an absolute joy 💛

🎨 May Half-Term Workshops at Cygnets Grantham 🌈

Join us this half term for a series of colourful, creative workshops inspired by the theme “Colours of the Rainbow” through artist study and fine art techniques ✨

Children will explore a variety of exciting materials including:
🎨 Watercolour
🎨 Gouache
🎨 Acrylic paint
🎨 Soft pastels
🎨 Colouring pencils

We’ll be running both morning and afternoon sessions, or children are welcome to stay for the full day and enjoy both projects.

Suitable for ages 5–12, with all materials provided and plenty of guidance and encouragement throughout 💛

🎨 We are so proud of what our students have created this week!

Our young artists worked incredibly hard to complete their beautiful Bison Skull watercolour projects, carefully mixing their own colours to bring each piece to life ✨

The standard of work on this project has been so high, especially considering the children have only been attending classes with us for a few weeks.

With step-by-step guidance and encouragement, every child has produced their own unique piece of artwork — and it’s been wonderful to see their confidence and creativity growing with each lesson 💛

We honestly can’t get over how amazing they all look!

If you’re looking for something a little different this half term, our Cygnets fine art workshops offer children the chance to slow down, focus, and get truly creative.
