We are delighted to be welcoming James Cavanagh to the Alternative Provision Convention Oxfordshire, hosted by In-spires Tuition on Friday 20th February 2026.
James is an international education and inclusion innovator, IFIP Fellow, and founder of RAWlifeCAN (Centre for Applied Neurocoherence™️) — a systems framework designed to help schools, alternative provision, and youth services move from compliance-driven support to capacity-led learning.
With a background spanning teaching, school leadership, counselling, and design, James’ work focuses on one core question: what happens when we regulate systems before we demand performance from people? His frameworks translate neuroscience, executive function, and lived experience into practical, low-cost tools that support learning readiness, engagement, and dignity across the schooling lifespan.
James is the creator of BLLOOM Pro™️, The Power of WOW™️, and the RAWSOME™️ Pillars, all designed to work within real classrooms and AP settings — not as clinical interventions, but as shared language and daily practice for educators and learners. His approach is neuroaffirmative, strengths-based, and explicitly system-focused, supporting learners with diverse needs without reducing them to labels.
His work has been recognised internationally, including multiple global inclusion awards, and he regularly collaborates with schools, government partners, and international organisations across Australia, the UK, Africa, and Europe.
James is known for bridging science, story, and system design — helping educators build environments where regulation comes first, learning follows, and young people are supported to re-engage with confidence and agency.
