Friends of Graffham & Duncton refers to the wider community of teachers, parents, grandparents and anyone who is keen to support our schools. Delicious homemade treats made by our school chef Laura, for all of our families who came to visit us on our open morning today 😍 Banana cake topped with home grown edible flowers and shortbread pumpkin cookies. If you missed looking around today, don’t worry! We have another open morning next Thursday 22nd October from 9.30-11.30 and ALL ARE WELCOME!!! What a brilliant team of Duncton girls who played football at Petworth school this afternoon. They played so well together with excellent defence and attack in equal measures. The girls played four games. They won two and drew two. Well done!

Year 1 and 2 were focussing on mark making today using charcoal to create textures such as fur, scales and feathers to create their own imaginary creatures. We used animal models to draw directly from and a book called ‘Call Me Gorgeous’ which celebrates our individuality. We are always amazed at the creative pieces our children produce! It’s always such a calm and creative space to be in when the children are so engaged, clearly loving their time to shine through their artwork. 💜

Our open mornings are a wonderful opportunity to explore our schoo, meet our friendly team, and discover whether we're the right fit for your family.

This year, we're delighted to welcome our school chef, Laura, and our Wraparound Care Leader, Molly, who will be on hand to answer your questions and tell you more about what we offer.

We are fortunate to have a lovely nursery on-site, run by the fabulous . They will also be opening their doors to prosective families and would love the chance to show you around.

And, of course, our fabulous PTA, Friends of Graffham and Duncton, will be serving up some lovely refreshments.

We look forward to welcoming you and showing you what makes our school so special.

Wren class have been exploring the lascaux cave paintings and using these as inspiration for their own artwork.. We went back in time to create our own pictures with our hands using charcoal and chalks. Another great way to collaborate together, chat about the process and develop our creativity whilst also working on our fine motor control.
