Hi everyone.

We are in the process of restarting our Greek school.

We have met the teacher & she is very happy to start lessons soon!

If you are interested for your child/children to attend then we are meeting at St Spyridon Church Thursday 25th of April after school for our introductory lesson? Aiming for 5pm.

This is a free trial where Maria will see the children’s Greek level so that she puts them in their respective lessons. She also wants to spend 15 mins with parents to meet everyone.

Angelina, our dance teacher, will also be there to introduce her lessons to any new students.

Please confirm you can come - and also, would any other parent like to be part of the Greek school committee to help make decisions on Greek school?

Also - the teacher is happy to do a third Greek lesson for the older children, if there’s enough to form a class! the classes seem to have 6 children so far
If this is the case, the lessons could start earlier too- we can discuss this all together next Thursday.

Good evening everyone,

Our community has been in contact with a Greek language lecturer, Maria, from the UEA.
She would like to help our community with our Greek school!

Maria would like to come to our community and meet the parents for a coffee to have a proper chat about our children’s knowledge of the Greek language, their learning experience so far and our expectations as parents of the Greek school.

She is asking if we are free to meet up all together this Saturday 23rd or on April 13th.

Would the parents that are interested in their children coming to Greek school be free to come either dates?

Please let me know, if not we could ask to meet the following Saturday 20th of April.

Please let’s get together and try and build up our Greek school again!

Dear parents / grandparents,

We are now in the process of applying for a new Greek school teacher from London (Cyprus).

In order to have a new teacher, we need to send a list of the students' names with the signatures of their parents, together with an application form.

If your child/children/grandchildren would like to join the Greek school this September, please let me know, so that we can include them in the numbers and I will come to see you personally to sign the application.
