Kids Planet Turnbridge Turnbridge is a private day nursery, established in 2003. The facility has been designed and constructed inline with OFSTED National Standards.

Turnbridge Day Nursery is a well established Day Nursery which was opened in 2003 and has grown and flourished along with lots of its original staff to be a 140 place nursery. Each of the 3 buildings has its own secure outside play/education areas and lots of off street parking. While the nursery is a fairly large setting we have ensured it has kept its homely charm with our 12 place Baby bungalow, our Tiddlers and Tots house and completely separate Pre-school and Out of School club.

🌿 A beautiful day of exploring, learning and making memories at Kids Planet Canal House!

As part of our 1,000 Little Adventures challenge, the children headed outdoors with their clipboards to explore the wonderful world of butterflies! 🦋

They watched them up close, talked about what they could see and discovered more about the natural world around them. It was a lovely opportunity to learn through real-life experiences while encouraging curiosity, communication and confidence.

Little adventures like this help children connect with nature, ask questions and discover something new, all while creating special memories together. 💚

Funded Childcare Reminder ⏰

If you're hoping to use funded hours from September 2026, make sure your application is completed by 31st August 2026.

Eligible working parents may be able to access up to 30 funded hours a week, while all 3 and 4-year-olds are eligible for 15 funded hours, regardless of whether their parents are working.

We are so proud of our little graduates! 🎓❤️

From first steps and first friendships to new discoveries, favourite activities and plenty of fun, every child’s journey through nursery and pre-school is full of moments worth celebrating.

Whether they’ve been with us from the very beginning or joined us along the way, we’ve loved being part of their journey and watching them grow into the wonderful little people they are today.

Graduation is a wonderful opportunity to come together, celebrate how far they’ve come and create even more special memories along the way. We hope they enjoyed every moment of their special day!

Over the past few weeks, our nurseries have been celebrating our Pre-School children as they prepare for their next big step into school.
Throughout their time with us, our teams have supported them as they’ve grown in confidence, developed their independence and built the skills they need for school and beyond.

From graduation ceremonies and parties to special activities and keepsakes, our teams have put lots of thought and care into making these celebrations special for children and their families.

Tots have had a super busy week keeping cool in the sunshine with lots of water play and even their very own mini indoor beach! 🏖️☀️

The children have enjoyed exploring, splashing and playing together while developing their curiosity and imagination.
We’ve heard lots of lovely language throughout the week as the children built upon their vocabulary, describing what they could see and do whilst transporting water using a variety of different containers and resources. 💦🪣

We are super excited to share a fabulous new addition to our Preschool Garden! 🌿🪵

Mike from our wonderful maintenance team has been busy creating this beautiful brand-new mud kitchen, and we absolutely love it already! 👷‍♂️✨
There are just a few finishing touches to add before it is ready for the children to enjoy, and we can't wait to reveal the completed space to you all.
We are especially looking forward to seeing the wonderful imaginative play, creativity and learning opportunities that this new area will inspire. 🥰🍃🥄

🧸 Happy International Teddy Bears' Picnic Day! 🧸
Today our babies brought along their favourite teddy bears to join them for some wonderful picnic-themed activities.
They had lots of fun playing outdoors this morning, developing their communication and language skills as they learned new words while pretending to feed and care for their teddies. 🧺🍓🧸
The children then enjoyed a lovely cool snack together in the shade, and of course their teddy bears were treated to a refreshing drink too! ☀️🥤
What a lovely day filled with imagination, friendship and lots of teddy bear cuddles! 💛

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our wonderful Graduation this afternoon. The children were absolutely amazing, and we couldn't be prouder of every single one of them. 💛
I am so grateful to our fantastic preschool team for all their hard work planning, organising, and practising to make the afternoon so special. There were definitely a few tears in the audience! 🥺

Finally, a big thank you to Julie and Lucy for providing the delicious party food, which, as always, went down a treat! 🎉
