Wellybobs Day Nursery Wellybobs is a family run nursery with fantastic facilities. We provide excellent childcare for ages Wellybobs opened its doors in April 2011.

Owned and managed by Lucy & Richard Taylor, along with Tina and Clifton Bland. Wellybobs Day Nursery is a family run business providing first class, quality care and education for children. The nursery, located in the country setting of Barnhill farm is next to open field’s and quiet roads. It is accessed by a private road, with parking spaces for our parents. Wellybobs is a Full Day Nursery with

additional After School care service. When you visit our nursery, the first thing you are likely to notice is the welcoming, friendly team and homely environment. It is this unique aspect which our parents comment on most and one which we actively encourage to help make our children feel they are safe, loved and have a sense of belonging at nursery. From babies up to pre-school children, we provide an emotional and physical environment which inspires our children to be inquisitive and explore their world with confidence, with the knowledge there is a loving, familiar and trusted adult to help them when they might need it.

How lovely 🥰 we have spent our bank holiday Monday morning reading through some lovely messages and thanks from our departing Pre-School children and families.

Unfortunately we have so many cards with lovely messages in , I have selected a small few.

Our team of loving hardworking team members have created an environment only an OUTSTANDING child care setting can provide. The very best care and attention through out your little ones nursery journey.

A huge good luck to all of our leavers ,who will be attending various schools in East Yorkshire ,North Yorkshire. I’m sure you’ll do us ,and your parents proud. 🥲

This afternoon following the interests of the toddlers we went on a insect hunt.
Throughout the walk we asked a variety of questions such as,
Which is the big spider?
What is this?
What colour is it?
How many legs can you count?
We then found a cobweb, the toddlers looked curiously as we closely inspected this whilst we spoke about where they came from.
After a wonderful walk we released the insects and returned to nursery to look at some pretend bugs which we confidently identified 🦗🪲🐞

Toddlers have loved exploring their environment this week, really observing everything they could hear and pointing what they could see. We also used our imagination finding some sticks and telling us 'its stickman' we then followed this on through reading the story when we got back to nursery 🌲

Today in pre toddlers we have had a lovely day surrounding emotions and feelings. We used our fine motor skills to paint the happy and sad colour monsters following instructions of which monster is which colour in the story. The children identified the colours we were using and enjoyed getting stuck in and messy with the paint and glitter🎨🫟 we also explored toys matching the colours and our new sensory toys

The babyroom have enjoyed an exciting transport-themed activity that took us on a journey through various methods of transport. We explored when and how we might use each one with the elements corresponding to then environment. This allowed us to explore a variety of different textures and ways to manipulate them. We will be continuing to explore different transport throughout the week! 🚙⛵️🚂🚜🚲🚛🚎

This week in the toddlers' room, we've had a fantastic time! We focused on strengthening our hand muscles and learning how to use scissors safely. We've also explored different textures using our engaging tuff tray activities, got creative with a variety of arts and crafts, and enjoyed plenty of other fun activities throughout the week 🌷🪼🦁
