From blob to bowl! Pretty amazing watching it being done. The kilns are as hot as volcanoes apparently, so I was nice and warm watching!
A huge thank you M.B.E, her staff, and her fiancé John, for a really entertaining afternoon at her studios in Thorseby Park, Newark. This giant glass bubble produced really fine glass (the same consistency as brittle cling film) which Victorian ladies used to stick to their bodies apparently to make themselves sparkle on a night out!
