🎬 What a fantastic evening for The Mayor's first outdoor cinema on Saturday! 🍿✨

The weather was extremely kind to us, the popcorn flowed, and Godmanchester Community Plant Nursery & Cafe looked beautiful in lights.

We hope everyone who attended enjoyed the evening just as much as we did!

We are also so pleased to announce that the event raised an amazing £1,493 for the Mayor’s Charity - - Hunts Community Cancer Network

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and helped make our first outdoor cinema such a wonderful evening!

✈️ RAF Alconbury Civic Event

Deputy Mayor Cllr Pauley and Cllr Mary Wakeman were pleased to represent Godmanchester Town Council at RAF Alconbury’s Civic Event on Wednesday morning.

The visit included a series of fascinating briefings about the work taking place across RAF Alconbury and RAF Molesworth, as well as the significant ongoing investment being made at both sites.

Cllr Pauley and Cllr Wakeman also heard more about the important work undertaken at RAF Molesworth, including its role in supporting NATO and working alongside UK and international partners to provide intelligence and information which contributes to security discussions and decision-making at the highest levels.

It was a valuable opportunity to learn more about the bases, their work and their continued importance both locally and internationally.

Our thanks to everyone at RAF Alconbury for the warm welcome and for hosting such an informative and interesting event.
