ā€˜TEACH ME TUESDAYS’ NEW Online Italian Whitework Class Series ā€œTranquil Waters.ā€ 21st April, 28th April, 5th May and 12th May -7.30pm -9.30pm

Online Class Series: ā€œTranquil Watersā€
Part 1 – Italian Hand Embroidery Techniques
Featuring traditional styles such as Casalguidi, Assisi, and Punt ’e Nu’ embroidery.

This ALL-NEW class will focus on in the form of a band sampler. This class is designed for intermediate through to an advanced level of whitework embroidery. This course will enable you to explore a range of Italian whitework techniques.

In these in- depth Whitework classes I progressively expand student’s knowledge of Italian whitework. These classes attract both students new to whitework and those with some knowledge. Class cost UK Ā£275 and Ā£325 Internationally.

Kate’s online Classes are recorded for students benefit so if you can’t make all four dates you can watch recording/s. Classes are also supported with an optional WhatsApp class facility to stay in touch with fellow students and for your tutor to offer feedback.

Part 2 – Italian Hand Embroidery Techniques
This upcoming online class in 2027 will showcase beautiful techniques including Punto Perugino and Sfilato Siciliano (Sicilian drawn thread work). This will be added to the fabric from the Part 1 Class Series to complete the Band Sampler.

Wrapping up 2025 and taking a moment to look back so I can step forward with clarity…

I’m endlessly grateful for all the support and opportunities that have come my way this year. Truly—thank you. Your encouragement and enthusiasm is the reason I’m able to do what I love.

My students have created some incredible work, and I couldn’t be prouder. I’ve also learned many new embroidery techniques myself and can’t wait to share these fresh skills and experiences with you in 2026. And with my book ā€œBeginners Guide to Embroideryā€ about to be published, it’s certainly been a busy year—but one filled with joy, growth, and unforgettable opportunities.

I’m excited for all the adventures 2026 will bring with my students, clients, family, friends, and supporters.

I’ve been very organised this year and have planned my full 2025 teaching programme—new designs, collaborations, and another announcement coming soon! It’s been a fun-filled 2025, and I’m truly excited about what 2026 has in store.

We are having a lot of fun here! ā€˜Teach me Tuesdays’ Progress images of my Online Advanced Monogramming Class Series.

In this class students are combining their own choice of two or three letters from a set font. Letter combinations have been designed into an individual bespoke kit by myself. This class is building on skills learnt from the initial online monogramming class series that started this September.

Class students are be guided through stitches such as; ladder, beading, voided satin,split, seeding, Pulledwork, trailing, stem, satin and padded satin to produce their very own monogram.
