Modern Guitar Tuition, Is a new type of group tuition lead by high profilled industry professionals. All in all a 10 weeks course with a performance at the end.

It will be for already advanced players and allows you to customise part of the lesson to your own specifications. We will do 10 double lessons and three 30 min one on one sessions. Basically we took all our teaching we have done in the past 10 years on various degree, and higher Dip programs and now also on a Masters program and cut all the crap and deliver only whats important to the player! And

its less then £15 pound an hour! For the performance you can pick any tune of your choice (with some guidance from the tutors to help you finding a piece of music thats possible to do within the 10 weeks). The one on one tuition will then help you to learn this piece and monitor your progress. The lessons is split into two half's first half is an actual lesson 45min-1h and the second half is a guided study where we contextualise the learned lesson. This allows everybody to have the actual depth of the content tailor made. For example. If we talk about pentatonics then we discuss the different uses various techniques and players who use it in the lesson. But you will want to know how to generate a ii-v-I sound out of it in a wes Montgomery, benson or barney kessel style. Somebody else will want to know about blues or rock, blues, funk etc...! The second half of the lesson is allowing exactly this . The group is small and if we get over 6 students we will have 2 tutors with the group.
