What an incredible week we had last week! 🏆 Congratulations to all the riders, horses, students, staff, volunteers and everyone who made this year's event such a success 💚

A huge congratulations to Zara Tindall, who claimed the British Open Championship and NAF CCI4*-S at Hartpury. A truly remarkable achievement and special moment in Hartpury’s eventing history 👏 Did you see us feature on Sunday’s BBC Points West? 👀

Last weekend also saw three British Eventing National Champions crowned, alongside outstanding performances across the international classes, including a brilliant third-place finish for our BSc (Hons) Equine Dental Science student Freya Partridge in the CCI3*-L 🐎

For our students, events like this are about so much more than watching elite sport. They provide an incredible opportunity to get up close to world-class equestrian competition, work and volunteer alongside industry professionals, and see what a career in the equine and sporting industries can look like.

We've been awarded £4.6 million through the Department for Education’s Post-16 Capacity Fund to enhance our specialist College Animal Management and Science facilities.

This will help us to ensure learners have continued access to high-quality environments and resources that support practical, technical and industry-focused education.

Former Hartpury Junior One’s footballer, O’Rian Reid, secured a professional contract with League One side Barnsley 🌟 Reid completed his Level 3 Foundation Diploma in Sport (Football) earlier this year and had been a regular starter and goal scorer for our Junior One’s side. During his time with the Junior One’s, Reid earned his way into Hartpury FC, making his step four debut during a 3-0 win away to Mousehole AFC during the 2025/26 season ⚽

Congratulations to our college students celebrating their results today 🎉 It's great to see strong performances across A-levels, BTECs and T Levels.

Our first cohort of students completing T Levels in Agriculture (Crop Production) and Agricultural Engineering has achieved an impressive 95.2% pass rate, with 36.5% of students achieving an overall Merit or Distinction.

Well done, everyone 🌟 We know you'll go on to achieve great things, whether that's through higher education, new opportunities, or whatever path you choose next 🤩
