Boogie Beat music and movement classes are energetic and fun, combining music and dance with carefully structured learning. Our music and dance classes help children to develop confidence, coordination and social skills whilst they learn to express themselves in a warm and relaxed environment. Boogie Beat music and movement classes are unique and engaging. We incorporate music, dance and singing with dance themes based on traditional fairy tales and nursery rhymes, using all our own music and illustrations. Our classes & workshops are active, lively and full of fun....there is nothing quite like Boogie Beat!

I was asked to take part in a live Q&A as Boogie Beat’s Inclusion Champion, at this years franchise conference.

Hannah (Boogie Beat Music and Movement -Children’s Activities) and I have been working behind the scenes to look at how we can make Boogie Beat more accessible, from the moment a customer books, right through to the session itself.

We talked about practical changes, adapting sessions, supporting different needs and, most importantly, making sure families feel listened to and welcomed.

It was a real privilege to share some of the things I’ve learnt through real life experiences and online courses, to help shape what inclusion looks like across Boogie Beat.

“This one can be Theo & Mummy’s trophy” – Theo

🏆 WINNER: Franchisee of the Year 2026 🏆

When I got home from our annual conference yesterday evening, I couldn’t wait to show Theo my new trophy. He is still so proud of the one I won back in 2024 for Boogie Beat’s Beginner of the Year.

He was so excited to see this one and said, “This one can be Theo & Mummy’s trophy.”
And he’s so right. It really is Theo & Mummy’s trophy!

Theo is my inspiration, my driving force and my reason why.
He was the reason I initially took the leap into self-employment and bought my Boogie Beat franchise in 2023, and he has been the driving force behind my passion for inclusion and advocacy throughout my entire business.

From booking to attending, from SEND classes to workshops in school SEN provisions, so much of what I do has been shaped by Theo.

I am absolutely over the moon with this win, and incredibly proud of the business I have built.

But getting to share this moment with Theo makes it even more special. 🧡
