Research shows that many children lose reading confidence, fluency and valuable progress over the long summer break. That’s why we’ve created a fun, flexible way to keep children reading, learning and growing throughout the holidays.

Hello strangers! 👋

I thought it was probably time for a little life update.

The last few months have been a whirlwind and if I’m honest, social media fell very far down my priority list whilst I navigated a very rough first trimester.

Thankfully, I’m now nearly 22 weeks pregnant, feeling much more like myself and excited to start sharing a little more of both life and business again.

Thank you to everyone who has continued supporting The Reading Mastery Tutoring while I’ve been quieter online. Our wonderful team has been working hard behind the scenes and we’ve loved welcoming so many new families this year.

Whether you’ve been following for years, are currently part of our tuition programmes, or are just discovering us for the first time.. hello 👋 I hope you’re well and having a lovely start to your summer so far!

✨ Happy New Year! ✨

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year’s Celebrations! I loved celebrating with friends and family and then ringing in the New Year with family in Florida.. yes I am soaking in as much sunshine as possible before heading back to chilly and wet England next week.

As we step into 2026, I just wanted to say how incredibly grateful I am.

2025 has been such an amazing year for The Reading Mastery Tutoring and I honestly couldn’t have imagined how much this business would grow or how much joy it would bring into my life.

This year we grew our team to 8 incredible tutors, expanded from 2 programmes to 9 clear, progressive reading levels, ran our biggest and best Summer Reading Camp yet and welcomed so many new families who placed long-term trust in us to support their children’s reading journeys.

But more than anything, I’m proud of the impact... the confidence built, the struggles eased and the steady progress made by so many children this year. That’s what it’s all about.

I’m so thankful to every family we’ve worked with, every child who’s tried their best and every tutor who pours their heart into this work. It really is a privilege.

Here’s to 2026 — I’m so excited for what’s to come. Thank you for being part of the journey and for those who are looking to work with us this year, we can’t wait to meet you! 💛📚
