I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year’s Celebrations! I loved celebrating with friends and family and then ringing in the New Year with family in Florida.. yes I am soaking in as much sunshine as possible before heading back to chilly and wet England next week.

As we step into 2026, I just wanted to say how incredibly grateful I am.

2025 has been such an amazing year for The Reading Mastery Tutoring and I honestly couldn’t have imagined how much this business would grow or how much joy it would bring into my life.

This year we grew our team to 8 incredible tutors, expanded from 2 programmes to 9 clear, progressive reading levels, ran our biggest and best Summer Reading Camp yet and welcomed so many new families who placed long-term trust in us to support their children’s reading journeys.

But more than anything, I’m proud of the impact... the confidence built, the struggles eased and the steady progress made by so many children this year. That’s what it’s all about.

I’m so thankful to every family we’ve worked with, every child who’s tried their best and every tutor who pours their heart into this work. It really is a privilege.

Here’s to 2026 — I’m so excited for what’s to come. Thank you for being part of the journey and for those who are looking to work with us this year, we can’t wait to meet you! 💛📚

We’re so excited to welcome Elaine to The Reading Mastery Tutoring family! 💛

Elaine brings an incredible 28 years of experience in administration and management in the NHS and beyond, and we’re thrilled to have her skills and warmth supporting our team. She’ll be taking care of day-to-day organisational work, keeping our operations running smoothly, supporting communication with parents, and guiding our students’ journeys — all while ensuring our tutors and students get the very best experience.

Her dedication and organisation will help us continue delivering on our mission — reaching as many children as we can around the UK, building their confidence, fluency, and love for reading 📚✨

Outside of work, Elaine loves reading, walking, and spending time with her family and friends — so we know she’s already perfectly aligned with our values of learning, balance, and connection.
