💒 Wedding Bells are in the Air! 👰 🤵

Two children in our Pre-School room proposed to each other and wanted to get married! So in true little lambs Pre-School style, we went over the top and held a fantastic wedding this morning!

The team put together their ideas and fantastic plans to create the annual wedding of the year working hard and tirelessly to bring together a wedding day they won’t forget starting work super early to create memories that will last with our children.

We followed our children’s interest and enjoyment on marriage and learnt what marriage was all about! The children made their own rings and vows to say to one another too! 🥹

All of our children waited patiently for the happy couple to come down aisle! We then had a big boogie in the garden to celebrate the lovely couple and cut the cake at lunch time.

What a lush day! ❤️🥰🫶

Shayla has just passed her level 2 in Childcare! We are so so proud of you and the hard work you have put into your qualification. The children and staff love you and you are such a wonderful team member that makes a huge difference to all of our children’s lives.

Next stop: level 3 status! Go girl! 🙌 ❤️

🍎 School Allocation Day 🍎

Tomorrow is an exciting day for our older pre-school children as they will be receiving news of their School Allocation! (16th April 2026)

We are excited to find out where the children have been placed for schools! The pre-school staff are already drying their eyes as we are so not ready to plan our graduation and say goodbye. 🥹

You should be able to access this information at midnight tonight. We can’t believe it’s come around so quickly!

🐛 🐞 🐜 Creepy Crawlies in our Garden! 🐛 🐜🐞

This morning our Pre-School children were chatting about bugs during circle time so TuTu set up a fun, interactive and engaging tuff tray in the reading area using natural resources from around the garden. 🪴

The children were focused and so engaged hunting for bugs whilst referring back to the books to discuss what they had found. They are working on their understanding of print having meaning in books to promote their literacy and communication and language whilst touching on caring for living things in their environment. 🥰

Lots of children who were eager to join in were chatting about what bugs eat such as “bees eat pollen on a daffodil.” We are extremely proud of their knowledge and taking their learning further of where we come from to now learning about what is around us! 🌷

It’s a bugs life and we are here for it! 🫶

🌷 Pre-School’s Mother’s Day Evening! 🌷

Last Friday, the pre-school team went above and beyond to decorate the two rooms to celebrate the very special mummies, carers and the important person in our children’s lives! 🥰

We had a rave going on in the discovery room, a cupcake decorating station and the yummy cupcakes were baked by our pre-school children during key group time! Which was a complete hit! 🧁

There was also some amazing still life paintings being done from gorgeous flowers set up on the table! Plus A LOT of colouring! There was lots of beautiful artwork that went home! 🏠

It was such a wonderful turn out and thank you to all the mummies, parents and carers who attended. It was lovely to see everyone chatting, having such a fun and great time even the children who came enjoyed themselves so much so, they wanted to stay the night and paint the town red! 🕺 💃

To our lovely toddler mums!
We had so much fun yesterday playing with our mums and showing them all what we do while at nursery.
Some toddlers moved onto messy play and loved scooping and pouring the rice while some moved onto biscuit decorating and made some lovely biscuits!
Finally toddlers and their mummy’s enjoyed some refreshments and food with each other!
