The details make the difference. I had a lovely day on Monday teaching integrated returns for Roman blinds, using Justine’s method — The secret to a flawless outside-mount Roman blind that hugs the wall with zero light gaps. A reasonably quick detail, huge visual payoff. 🪡✨
Behind the scenes at this weekend’s Roman blind course! Each wonderful student created both a lined and an interlined Roman blind, and even added trim using a professional faux hem technique.
The studio was full of laughter, support and encouragement — a truly fabulous weekend.

📐 Standard stack or cascade stack — which one’s right for your window?
Both pull your Roman blind up out of the way, but they sit differently once raised:
🔹 Standard stack — folds sit flat and even, sitting slightly below the headrail
🔹 Cascade stack — folds step down in a soft, layered cascade for a more tailored look
