We really encourage all of our learners and fellow ODPs to become members for College of Operating Department Practitioners - CODP and the fantastic new partnership with CPDMe for collating all of your CPD to be portfolio ready and support your CVs!
๐ข At the College of Operating Department Practitioners (CODP) Annual Conference, we will be announcing our collaboration with CPDme, marking an exciting step in supporting ongoing professional development for CODP members.
As part of our membership offer, this new partnership is an important step forward in supporting CODP members with access to the CPDme Portfolio making it simpler to record CPD, manage professional development and align activity with HCPC standards.

Today we held our first ODP Symposium at University of Gloucestershire with our three ODP cohorts, partners and Alan Mount, Chair of the Education and Standards Committee for the College of Operating Department Practitioners - CODP
It was wonderful to see the impact all of our ODP learners are having out in their clinical areas, raising the profile of our profession and disseminating their findings from service improvement projects, awareness of human factors in perioperative practice, critical literature reviews and primary research ultimately enhancing understanding of who ODPs are and what we do to improve patient care.
Our hope is that our student ODPs engaging with research today are forging the evidence base that will elevate our profession and transform patient care tomorrow. Thankyou to you all!
