We are looking for a dedicated professional to join our Care, Social Sciences, and Education team. In this role, you will:

Provide advice and support to candidates in compiling and presenting a portfolio of evidence that meets vocational qualification standards.
Conduct fair, safe, and reliable assessments of candidates' skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:

Recognisable and registerable Practitioner qualification for working with children and young people as specified by the Scottish Social Services Council.
Proven, up-to-date industry/work-based experience.
Clear understanding of vocational qualifications and quality frameworks (https://www.sqa.org.uk/sqa/69187.html).

What an amazing morning at Fife College with Tommy Whitelaw, the leader of the Person Centred Voices project. We discussed the importance of culture change in health and social care to promote person-centred practices. The energy in the room was incredible, and we had deep conversations about what matters to each individual and what constitutes a good day. We even had some fun singing and dancing together. Thank you, Tommy Whitelaw, for a memorable experience!

What an incredible day at Fife College. 🌟 A massive shoutout to our phenomenal event organisers, Kasia, Agnes, Julie, and Eliana, for orchestrating an unforgettable ESOL (English for speakers of other languages) student event that was truly a feast for the senses. 🌍🍲 Along with Level 5 Social Science students across the faculty who supported the Scottish table and conducting interviews.

Thanks to their hard work and dedication, our talented students had the opportunity to showcase their culinary skills with a delectable spread of local dishes. From Ukrainian delights to Brazilian flavours, Moldovan treats to Pakistani delights, and so much more – we all had the privilege of sampling a diverse array of home-cooked goodness! 🥟🍜

But it wasn't just about the food – today was a journey through cultures, dancing, laughing, and learning about traditional dress, customs, and even some fascinating superstitions, all curated by our amazing organisers and students.

Let's not forget the mesmerising Highland dancers who added a touch of Scottish charm to the festivities! Please enjoy the photos of our students in their traditional attire and captivating vibrant dances. Huge thanks to Kasia, Agnes, Julie, and Eliana for making this event a resounding success! I
