Many of our students will still be with us as we kick-start our rehearsals for our upcoming Christmas production. We are ready for a fun-filled week of show preparation!

The performing arts can boost confidence and, in turn, help our students feel positive about performing in front of audiences – helping them become confident individuals. Classes are designed to help students integrate well in social settings with an aim to enhance our students' understanding of the performing arts and to prepare them; especially if they want to pursue further education courses in that sphere.

Our dedicated teaching staff are trained to a very high standard, with many having already gained degrees and master's degrees at prestigious educational establishments like The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, and Royal Academy of Music. Recently we added up the team’s combined years of experience - an amazing 475 YEARS!

Happy International Day of Sign Languages! Did you know there are 126 types of sign language in the world?

One of our amazing tutors, Dionne, taught some of our students how to spell their names using British Sign Language(BSL). Isn't that amazing! You can see Cara, Lola, and Elsa spelling their name by swiping right.

Lead Role, Dance Team, and Ensemble auditions for our main show will take place from Saturday, 9 September, until Monday, 11 September.

Pre-show audition workshops will take place on Saturday, 16 September, and Sunday, 17 September.

It's National Food Bank Day! Did you know we donate to a local food bank every year?

Each year at Christmas, we donate food and toys to the food bank, and earlier this year, we donated all of our old merchandise to Carntyne & Riddrie Foodbank. Our incredible students Hannah, Betsy, Darcy, Cerys, Georgie, Marcus, Violet and Sarah helped us bag and load everything to be delivered.

Later this year, we will be making further donations, and you can get involved too! We will reveal more details on how you can contribute to donations nearer the time; keep your eyes peeled for more information!👀

Congratulations to all our amazing students who sat their exams this year. All your hard work really paid off! We have continued to maintain our 100% pass rate for all graded exam categories and couldn't be more proud of you all!

Job Role:
As our Admin Assistant, you will be an integral part of our close-knit office team. Your primary responsibility will be to provide administrative support and ensure the smooth running of iNTER Performing Arts during term time.

We are looking for someone who:
◽ Has a positive and enthusiastic attitude
◽ Thrives in a team-oriented, fun environment
◽ Communicates effectively and confidently
◽ Is organised, with great attention to detail, and able to manage time efficiently
◽ Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills when dealing with students, parents and guardians

Overall, if you're a pro at organising and time-juggling, and have a gift for making students, parents and guardians smile, as well as loving being in a performing arts environment, then you're perfect for iNTER!

What a wonderful week we just had throughout our Wicked themed Holiday Academy. With music from The Wiz, The Wizard of Oz and, of course, Wicked itself.

A massive thanks to all of our talented students and young people involved. You did us proud and we’re in awe of you all! It’s truly incredible what you all can do in JUST FOUR DAYS! You placed your trust in us and look what YOU just did! Massive plaudits 👏👏👏

A huge thank you also to our fantastically supportive parents, guardians and audience. You were wonderful and, from the tremendous feedback, we know you loved watching all the amazing young performers shine on stage. We know you’re in awe of them all too! ✨✨✨

Next week is our final iNTER Summer Holiday Academy, and it’s going to be brilliant. Our Screen, Radio & Podcast week is for all you budding young presenters out there. We’re due to have the most exciting week with all the brilliant tips of the trade from your coaches and visits from top-class real live radio presenter guests (that you’ll all know), and we’ll top the week off with a special visit to incredible radio stations - where our participants can see live radio in action!!! We cannot wait!

After last week's High School Musical success, we are so excited to be back and feeling the buzz of this week's fully booked Wicked-themed summer holiday academy!

Our final holiday academy of 2023 is taking place next week and is the theme of Screen, Radio & Podcast! The five-day Screen, Radio & Podcast programme is aimed at children and young people from 8-18 years and will develop their on-screen skills as well as their understanding of podcasting and radio. Students will learn how to prepare and conduct themselves on camera from a film and television perspective as well as an introduction to the inner workings of podcasting and radio presenting! Who knows, there may even be a well-known radio presenter popping in to say hi! 😜

A mammoth thank you to all of our casts involved in our 2023 summer productions. You have been the most amazing young people to work with. We’re so proud of each and every one of you. Thank you for working so hard, performing like professionals and even taking a show evacuation in your stride. Thank you so much for all the joy you continually bring us. You inspire us daily.

Thank you also to our wonderful audiences. You too took a show evacuation in your stride! You’re full of support and encouragement. From bringing your children to rehearsals, to the early starts and late pickups. You’ve been there supporting your children and us through the entire process. Massive plaudits 👏👏👏

Overall, we cannot thank you all enough - the students, the parents, the guardians, the audiences, the staff and the crew. You’re all amazing! 🤩

There have been many shows over the the last 22 years, but this year’s main show has been particularly special as its not only a phenomenal show, but it’s been the RIGHT show to do for our first year as iNTER Performing Arts Academy. It speaks about love, community and the importance of being inclusive and diverse, and celebrating our differences. It sends out the best message to everyone to be the best version of themselves, and that’s what iNTER is all about!

We’re so sad that the run of this incredible show is over, but we are so thrilled that it happened.

We're making the headlines. Today's Sunday Mail told readers about our very special video message from Everybody's Talking About Jamie movie actor Max Harwood to our Inter Performing Arts Academy cast! We loved that the movie's Jamie name-checked our production Jamie...Bailey Easton!

ANOTHER OUTSTANDING SHOW NIGHT!!! We are so proud of these casts. We cannot thank the Saturday Junior cast enough. They absolutely rocked our world today and tonight. Audience members who weren’t related to the juniors couldn’t believe how young and how talented they all are - but we knew! 😜That’s why we love to work with them all and showing them all off. They’re truly amazing!

And then the most inspiration to those juniors is the cast of EVERYBODY’S TALKING ABOUT JAMIE. The Jamie cast are sensational. They are one of the hardest working and supporting teams of people we have had the pleasure to work with. We cannot praise them enough. Massive plaudits to the Jamie company. Phenomenal work! Let’s do it all again twice tomorrow! WE CANT WAIT! 👠💄💋

Oh my goodness! Our first matinee of our summer show run just went down A STORM!

From our Junior Pre-show HARRY HARRISON’S HOLIDAY HOEDOWN having the audiences bursting with laughter and dancing in the aisles - to the hysteria, the crying and the true joy of EVERYBODY’S TALKING ABOUT JAMIE. Tonight’s 7pm audience is in for an absolute Treat.

WOW! WOW! WOW! WHAT A STANDING OVATION! What a cast! What an audience! What an opening night! Everybody’s definitely talking about Jamie and our show is now ‘out of the darkness and into the light’! 😍

A huge thanks to everyone involved, cast crew and our fantastic audience. Our audience was so supportive and full of encouragement. The feedback this evening has been tremendous and our students have loved hearing how much everyone enjoyed their opening show.
