Stem girls are getting ready for a new group and green challenge - City STEM girls at the latest training day.

Today we attended the University of West of Scotland's Enabling Diversity & Inclusion in STEM fields event in collaboration with the Centre for Engineering, Education & Development where we discussed positive action and heard from great people in the industry - including our fabulous staff champion 🤩

Our STEM Girls Equate Scotland Student Champions had the honor of representing City of Glasgow College at The Herald Higher Education Awards 2019 along with wonderful staff and partners. Well done to everyone nominated for an award and to the winners.

Five STEM Girls had a trip to Sky's headquarters in London today to launch Sky's major diversity project. Very exciting and interesting day ✈️

Great day yesterday at the Equate Scotland Student Conference then campaign evening celebration. Inspiring keynote speakers, useful workshops and an empowering employer panel. Huge congratulations to the Student Award and campaign picture winners. 👭

We had a fab day volunteering at SmartSTEMs event today at CoGC. 120 pupils came from different schools to learn what STEM is and get inspired by the amazing keynote speakers and workshops!
