Role and Responsibilities
As a Clever Tutor, you will:
Travel to students' homes in your designated area (Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Renfrewshire, Ayrshire, or Stirling) to deliver personalized, one-on-one tuition tailored to each student's needs.
Assist students in preparing for exams, improving subject comprehension, and developing effective study habits.
Collaborate with the Clever Tutors team to share resources and best practices, ensuring a high standard of educational support.
Candidate Requirements
We are looking for individuals who:
Hold a university degree in their chosen subject area.
Have a minimum of one year of experience in teaching, tutoring, lecturing, or a related field.
Demonstrate proficiency in IT and are comfortable using digital tools for teaching and communication.
Exhibit excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for education.
Possess a PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) certificate or are willing to undergo the application process with our assistance.
Are available during after-school hours on weekdays and weekends, and are willing to travel to students' homes within the specified regions.
Can commit to tutoring with us for at least one academic year to ensure continuity for our students.

Primary Level: All subjects
Secondary Level: Maths, English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Geography, Computing Science
Undergraduate Level: Various subjects, depending on expertise
Tutors have the flexibility to offer tuition at any level, from Primary and Secondary through to undergraduate, based on their qualifications and interests.
