Time for a cheeky update!

We have been busy at the Parent Council. Over the past few months, we have received £3500!

£2500 has been given to the staff to buy resources for learning packs in the school :)

£1000 has gone towards providing the school and Festival Park nursery with food parcels for families :D

We have signed up for the COOP community fund so keep an eye out for us and please think about choosing us as your cause.

P1 inductions are around the corner and we are working on ways to connect with our new P1 parents virtually. At the moment we are creating a leaflet for these families to give them insight into Lorne Street Parent Council.

We are hoping we will be able to hold events soon and have lots of ideas about what our first one should be :O

First Minister Nicola Sturgeon has confirmed that almost all pupils in Scotland will return to school full-time after the Easter holidays. 🎒

🏠 Children who are on the shielding list will continue to learn from home until 26th April.
