This afternoon the children in the squirrels made fruit kebabs to enjoy at snack time. This encouraged conversations about healthy eating, developing their fine motor skills & hand-eye coordination.

Today is World Bee Day & also National Numeracy Day, so Pamela our numeracy champion decided to incorporate both topic's into her planning this week. The children explored camouflage numbers using coloured panels to identify numbers. Fun Bee fact - Bee's can not see the colour red, it appears dark or black to them.
