Hi there, I am Sharon. I started out as a gymnast when I was a child and this led me to get into gymnastics coaching as an adult.
Sharon Ross is a Sport & Remedial Therapist, specialising in treating with Deep Tissue, IASTM, Trigger Point Therapy, Osteopathic Mobilisation, Kinesio Taping and Cupping to aid recovery and reduce pain. LET ME BE BRUTALLY HONEST HERE!!!!
When I completed virtually every course I have ever been on, I didn’t leave feeling “ready” or well equipped to go out and start using a lot of these treatments on people!
What got me “ready” was further learning/support and of course actually “doing the thing”
Much like when you learn to drive, your training gives you the “basic skill” but it’s not until much further down the line where you actually “feel competent” and even then, the learning continues!

BACK PAIN STOPPED YOU TAKING PART IN YOUR FAVOURITE ACTIVITY????
Here’s some things to remember about back pain! In around 40% of the population, bulging discs are found in imaging, however these people have ZERO pain!
Bulging discs do NOT always equal pain and pain does NOT mean bulging discs, there can be many causes of back pain but one of the first things to look at is issues with the MSK system!

ALTHOUGH DRY NEEDLING IS MY GO-TO FOR A LOT OF ISSUES I SEE IN CLINIC, SPORTS MASSAGE STILL HAS IT’S PLACE 💪🏽
IF YOU TAKE YOUR TRAINING SERIOUSLY THEN YOU NEED TO TAKE YOUR RECOVERY SERIOUSLY TOO!
