Dear Parents/Families,
We are excited to invite you to join our upcoming meeting for those interested in being part of our Parent Council!
We will have Anne-Marie Murphy, chairperson at Royston Primary School Parent Council, joining us to share her experience and answer any questions.
Date: 24/04/25
Time: 18:00-19:00
Location: St Roch’s Childcare Service
Our main objective will be to support fundraising efforts and enhance community engagement, making our service an even better place for our children. To get started, we will need a minimum of three key positions filled: Chairperson, Secretary, and Treasurer. The council will have its own bank account and will be subject to Annual General Meetings (AGMs) and auditing, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Your voice matters, and we would love to hear your thoughts on how we can work together to support our children. Whether you’re an experienced member or new to the idea, your participation is valuable!
Please let us know if you are planning on coming along, this will help us have an idea of how many people will be attending.
Kind regards,
St. Roch's Childcare Service Management Team

Dear Parents/Carers,
At St. Roch’s Childcare Service, we are committed to providing a nurturing and enriching environment for your children. As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance our services and strengthen our community, we are reaching out to invite interested parents to join our Board of Directors. This is a voluntary role.
Being a board member is a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of our childcare service. Your insights, experiences, and passion for early childhood education will be invaluable as we work together to shape the future of our service.
What Does Being a Board Member Involve?
- Attending regular board meetings to discuss strategic goals and initiatives.
- Collaborating with fellow board members to provide guidance and support to our staff.
- Participating in fundraising efforts and community outreach.
- Advocating for the importance of quality childcare within our community.
We believe that parental involvement is crucial to our success, and your voice can make a significant impact. If you are interested in joining the board or would like more information about the role and responsibilities, please feel free to reach out to me directly at [email protected] or telephone me on 0141 564 3020.
We would love to hear from you! Together, we can continue to create a supportive and enriching environment for our children.
Thank you for your continued support of St. Roch’s Childcare Service.
Kind regards
Samantha Evritt
