Hello - welcome to the official page for GUNC! Welcome to GUNC! All are welcome and we look forward to bringing in new members to our ever growing club.

We cater for all skill levels of netball, offering the opportunity to improve your fitness, develop your game, make plenty of friends and play a highly skilled sport! We have two sessions to accommodate our ability range:
RECREATIONAL SESSIONS: These are fun, yet productive sessions for those who haven't played before and want to learn a new skill or those who wish to improve their netball. Sessio

ns include fitness, ball work and matches - a great way to keep fit and meet new people! SQUAD SESSIONS: A session for the more experienced. Always a fast paced and fun session where girls will be constantly improving on their skills and preparing themselves for competitive games in both Glasgow and BUCS University leagues. We love to compete and always ready to take on our next challenger and play in competitive university and Glasgow leagues. Our firsts team play in the BUCS 1A league - competing against the top universities in the UK and ready to play some fantastic netball. Our other squads also compete in BUCS leagues alongside other Scottish university teams. Throughout the year we also take part in the SSS tournament, Glasgow Taxis Cup among others, perfect for the netball lover!! We've had a highly successful few years winning the SSS plate and Cup in 2014 and being crowned GUSA's Club of the Year 2014. We won the Glasgow Taxi Cup last season against Strathclyde and Caledonian University and we hope to continue this legacy. We are constantly growing and evolving and we want all like-minded players to come along and join us in our success! Being part of our club isn't just about the game. We strive to create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for ALL members and have made lifelong friends along the way! We have regular socials including themed nights out, subcrawls, pub quizzes and fundraisers. Training is on Monday (Recreational and Squad) and Tuesday (Squad) evenings in the activity hall in the Stevenson building. COME JOIN US! 2025/26 Season 🖤💛

Just like that another year at GUNC has finished!

This year has been filled with wins (including many league wins!), socials, fundraisers and plenty of amazing memories. We have loved seeing all 6 teams, rec and dev give their all in training which has really showed in their games!

Our socials were a massive hit yet again, thanks to Hannah and Iona and everyone who dressed up every Wednesday night!

The charity tournament, fun run, and the ceilidh raised money for Maggie’s Cancer Care- thank you to everyone who donated!

Finally, a massive thank you to everyone on the committee who have worked hard to help make this season a massive success, in particular our lovely club captain Eleanor!!

We can’t wait to see what the 26/27 season has in store🔥

Final results⭐️

A massive well done to our GNA 3s who secured a final win in the league this week which means they are being promoted!!!

That’s marks the end of the GNA season for all 3 of our teams with great results from all teams:
- 1s finished 6th
- 2s finished 4th
- 3s finished 1st

We can’t wait to see how our teams get on next season!!

Our 1s are travelling down to Birmingham today to play in a second play off which determines if they will compete in Premier North 2 next year!!

A massive good luck to everyone playing, we will be cheering you all on!!
