My Journey in Business and Management
I have over 20 years of management and business experience, consisting of more than 600 projects in the packaging supplies business, the events business, the property business, and in Public Service. I managed internal organization teams from 3 up to 100+ people, on top of the hundreds of suppliers, clients, and colleagues that I worked with in the past. My o
fficial management experience started back in 2004 when I started working as Administration Manager. Following this experience, I started my own packaging supplies and marketing business in Malta in 2005. As a Managing Director at VistaPak, I was responsible for strategy and planning, and budgeting/forecasting. I was also coordinating the procurement, negotiations, and operations. During this business experience, my business has penetrated several international markets, including the UK, Ireland, India, Malta, Italy, Israel, and Australia. Moreover, we worked with companies like Coca-Cola, McDonalds, Pizza Hut, STMicroelectronics, PG plc, The Convenience Shop (Holding) plc, Farsons Group plc, KFC, and other major companies. Following my experience in VistaPak, I started focusing more on the property market in the UK through GM Properties, back in 2015. During that time, I managed the administration of the business and property projects, and I continued doing managerial functions like budgeting and forecasting. In the meantime, I was also managing GM Content House with my colleagues, a business that I founded back in 2002. Since then, this company has been focusing on creating content for different clients around the world, including universities, coaches, business people, politicians, and other individuals who consumed content as part of their living. In 2022, I also had the opportunity to work as a manager in the Public Service for a number of months. In fact, I worked with the Malta Housing Authority as Estate Management Data Manager, where I had the chance to bring forward strategic and operational changes to improve efficiency and coordination with other departments through the CEO's Office. This experience helped me expand my experience as a manager beyond the private sector. All these managerial experiences helped me start my packaging marketing consultancy business in 2013, where I have been working with other consultants around the world in dealing with different importing, retail and manufacturing businesses on their operations, marketing and packaging strategies through our STEPP internal auditing approach.
