What a superb afternoon! ‘Striding the Streets’ to celebrate R900! Thank you to everyone who came out to support! The parade fantastic! ❤️ Our R900 choir sang their hearts out and wowed the crowd! ❤️ And the party in Overtoun Park was so much fun! Great community spirit! ❤️ Rutherglen 900

Excitement is mounting for our P7 leavers dance on Thursday night and we cannot wait to welcome you all. Tissues st the ready. 😭Please make sure your P7s are at the school for 6.15pm to ensure class photos with the piper in advance. See you there! 🥰

So that’s a wrap for another year. Well almost 😬…Just the P7 leavers dance to go on Thursday night and we can put our PC feet up for the summer break.

A massive thank you for another fabulous year! We should all be very proud of what we have achieved for the school and with the school. So grateful to work with such an incredible bunch of people. Thank you also to the staff for all your support and hosting such a lovely evening. 🥰😁🏖️

❤️ It’s finally here!!! The moment we’ve been waiting for! Striding the Streets…the Rutherglen 900 parade!!! Hope to see lots of Calderwoodies coming out to support and have some fun! ❤️ .bsky.social

Our Calderwoodies had a ‘Football Mad, Football Crazy’ World Cup ⚽️🏆 Sports Day in our house teams! ❤️💙💚💛 We had ‘McGinn Madness’ and ‘McTominay Mayhem’ obstacle courses, as well as flat races! We even managed to dodge some of the rain ☔️… and had great fun and a sing song! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

One of our P1 Calderwoodies had a special day last week! He got to meet the Scotland Team at Hampden before they jetted off to the USA for the World Cup! 💙🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿💙 I’m sure he’ll bring them them good luck! Hope lots of Calderwoodies are watching the friendly tonight, too! Come on Scotland! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

‘Inspiring idea’ certificates went to many of our pupils!💙
Our winner was presented with an H10 Fire tablet by Alan and the 2 runners up received coding games! The winning app, which was a reading buddy design, will soon be available on their website https://www.makeithappen.club

Our Digital Leaders worked with JP Morgan this term to run their ‘Make It Happen’ competition where pupils were asked to design an app. The entries were collected by Alan Torrance from JP Morgan and the winners and runners up where chosen by their app team. 📱💻🖥️⌨️
