This wasy first time coaching David who won a space at the London Marathon. David's training was incredibly strong and he became king of the long run (I don't think he missed one). I could not be prouder of David for how he tackled the race and last few weeks of training especially. Congratulations David 👏🏼

Our 2nd London marathon champion is Stuart 🎉

This was my 2 time coaching Stuart and a 2nd PB for him 🔔 Stuart had an incredible run in London, which was so deserved after a very consistent training block that he put so much effort into. Stuart balances a busy work and social life, but has made this plan slot into that beautifully. Congratulations Stuart.

Has it really been over a week since the London Marathon?

RPC had 4 amazing athletes at London and we are going to start with Duncan.

It has been a privilege to watch and coach Duncan from couch to 5k in 2022, to running the London Marathon this year. Duncan started running to improve his health and he has not only done that, but ran multiple half marathons and is now a marathoner and fallen in love with the sport. Everyone who knows Duncan knows, how hard he's worked. He's certainly got a wee fan club 🤩

Celebrating our second devil, 😈

Queen of the ultras and Marathon PB on her honeymoon, this gal is unstoppable. I've lost count of the amount of times I've coached Laura and I've loved every single time. She showed real grit on Saturday and ran unbelievably. I'm so proud of how her and Ro pulled each other through the majority of the race. If this weekend showed us anything, it's that we run stronger when we work together 💪🏼

I don't know about you but I'd love to relive the weekend all over again

RPC had so many runners out and about this weekend. Let's start by celebrating Róisín who ran the ultra marathon on Saturday. This is the second time I've coached Ro and her commitment and consistency with the plan has continued to amaze me. I had the absolute pleasure of seeing her at the top of the Devil's staircase and it was incredible to see the determination she was showing during the race.

🏅 Medal Sunday🏅

It wasn’t my intention to leave my own marathon post this late in the week, but it also wasn’t my intention to get shingles either—so here we are 🤷🏼‍♀️

Let’s just say the Zürich Marathon delivered. It was perfect conditions and a beautiful course along Lake Zürich.

This was my 10th marathon, and I came away with a PB that was faster than I expected. Everything lined up in the week and on race day, and I produced negative splits for the first time ever.

These things don’t happen overnight—it was off the back of a consistent training block and the best mindset I’ve ever had going into a race. If I ever figure out how I got that, I’m writing it down and selling it, because that was a bloody lovely place to be.

Aileen was the 3rd member of RPC who took on Milan Marathon at the weekend 🇮🇹

It's always a pleasure to coach Aileen and this was the 2nd marathon I've coached her for. Aileen worked so hard this block and it showed in the race where she was rewarded with a PB. Huge congratulations Aileen, you deserve this

Our second celebration comes from Jonny who also ran the Milan Marathon 🎉

This was Jonny's 4th marathon off the back of an incredibly consistent training block. Jonny puts in the hours on the road and is so passionate about his running. Although not a PB, it was a super strong run 🤩 Enjoy the rest of your trip Jonny, you've earned it.

The RPC team were back at it again over the weekend. With 3 athletes taking on Milan Marathon and myself in Zürich. All big goal races. 

Let's start our first medal Monday with OG member Scott.

After a successful training block, Scott finally got to celebrate yesterday after being sidelined by injury the last year. I'm so proud of him for how he approached the training and how he ran yesterday. I'm looking forward to hearing a classic Scott recap of the race featuring blow by blow detail of each mile.
