At around 10 years old, I began training in Karate, earning my 2nd Dan Black Belt in my early teens. What started as a way to improve my fitness and focus quickly became a lifelong passion. Martial arts taught me discipline, resilience, confidence and the value of pushing beyond what I thought I was capable of. I later trained for several years with Krav Maga Global, where I qualified as a certifi
ed Krav Maga Instructor. My own journey continues today as I train in MMA, always learning, improving and challenging myself. Outside of training I've had the privilege of working with both adults and children, including children with additional support needs and adults with addictions. I believe everyone should have the opportunity to experience the physical and mental benefits that martial arts can offer, and I strive to create a welcoming, inclusive environment for all where every individual can train at their own pace and feel supported. I founded Clyde Fitness & Striking to share the positive impact martial arts has had on my life. It’s something that has always been there for me and helped me in many ways. My goal is simple: to help people become stronger, fitter and more confident through striking, self-defence and functional fitness in a welcoming, supportive environment. Whether you're completely new to training or have years of experience, I want you to feel comfortable from the moment you walk through the door. We train hard, learn real skills, support one another, and never forget to enjoy ourselves along the way. For me the greatest reward isn't just seeing someone become fitter or more skilled—it's watching them discover confidence they didn't know they had. Seeing people leave each session content and happier, believing in themselves is exactly why I do what I do. Turning up for the first time is the hardest part—but you won't do it alone. I'll be there to answer your questions, support you, and help you every step of the way!
