Fresh air, big smiles, and lots of fun! 🌳☀️

Our local outings are always a highlight of the week, giving the children the opportunity to explore their community, build confidence, develop friendships, and enjoy plenty of active play. Today we had a wonderful time at the local park, climbing, sliding, running, and laughing together.

We love making the most of the fantastic spaces around us and creating meaningful experiences for our little learners. 💚

If you're looking for a nurturing and fun environment for your child, we'd love to welcome you. We currently have a limited number of spaces available from August.

Some of our friends in our baby department, had a wonderful day out visiting Kelvin Grove Museum. They loved exploring their local community, taking in new sights, sounds, and experiences, and showing lots of curiosity along the way.

Outings like these support children to build confidence, develop a sense of belonging, and learn through real-life experiences. This links closely with Realising the Ambition, which highlights the importance of rich, meaningful learning beyond the nursery walls, where children can explore, investigate, and make sense of the world around them.

✨️Sensory exploration in action!✨️

Today, the children explored our light up sensory tray, filling it with a variety of natural and loose parts materials. These experiences support curiosity, fine motor skills, problem solving, and language as children experimented, made choices, and shared ideas. Sensory play like this helps children make sense of the world around them while building confidence and independence 🌱

This week at nursery out little chefs had a blast making their own mini pizzas! 🍕

Not only was it a fun creative activity! But it also helped them develop key skills. The children spread their sauce, sprinkled the cheese and chose their own toppings. This helped improve their fine motor skills and hand eye coordination. Such a great way to mix fun with learning!
