Come speak to your Student Presidents and grab your free academic‑year planner! packed with the important things that will help you stay organised, supported, and on top of your year at Kelvin.

It’s designed for important dates, to‑do lists, weekly reflections, and all the little moments you want to keep track of as you move through college.

I’m in East End campus today, but keep an eye out across Kelvin this week — we’ll be popping up on different campuses so you can come say hi and collect yours.

We are incredibly proud to share that we been selected as a finalist for the Education Award at the Proud Scotland Awards 2026.

This means more than I can put into words. It represents the hard work, passion and determination that goes into everything we do at the Glasgow Kelvin College Student Association — from fighting for inclusion, to expanding support, to making sure every student feels seen, valued and uplifted.

This nomination isn’t just about me. It’s about the students who trust us, the staff who back us, and the community who stand with us as we push for real change. It’s a recognition of the collective effort, the long days, the tough conversations, and the belief that education should empower everyone.

Thank you to everyone who supports our work. This one’s for all of us.

Yesterday we had the pleasure of welcoming Amy from sparqs to our campus. It was great to share all the amazing work the Glasgow Kelvin Student Association is doing to support students and make a real difference in their lives. We also put together a plan to work more closely moving forward, which I’m really excited about. It was so good to see Amy again — she has been such a massive support to me.

The Student Association was there in a true time of need, stepping up when it mattered most. When the canteen had to close unexpectedly, our colleagues were under immense pressure, trying to ensure that every student on campus would still be fed. In that moment, the Student Association didn’t hesitate. We stood alongside them, helping to manage the stress, support the workload, and make sure no student was left without a meal.

Our commitment goes beyond events and activities it’s about being present when our community needs us the most. Today was a reminder of the role we play, the responsibility we carry, and the impact we can make when we show up for one another.
