We had a great time on Friday afternoon at our OASS Hub Summer Fayre. A free event to invite our community in, offering a free BBQ, free fairground stalls and performances from Razzmatazz. We also had our second hand uniform stall, face painting and an ice cream van.

Free Summer Reading Challenge at Medway Libraries


Join us at Medway Libraries for our free Summer Reading Challenge for 4-11 year olds! With our fun creative arts theme, together this year we’ll be Marvellous Makers, which celebrates creativity and imagination in all its forms. From music to drawing, plays to crafts; there’s going to be something for every child at Medway Libraries this summer.

The challenge is to read 6 library books between Saturday 13th July to Saturday 14th September, and for every book children read they'll win a prize, including smelly stickers and colouring pencil sets. The final prize is a certificate and special medal!

All library books count towards the challenge; fiction books with stories, books with facts, joke books, poetry, ebooks, graphic novels like Dog Man and Bunny vs Monkey, comics, manga, and audiobooks- the main thing is for children to read books they enjoy! Younger children can have help to read their books, e.g. from an adult or sibling.

We are also running our free Teen and Adult reading challenges, so the whole family can take part together.

There will be a PTA meeting on Tuesday 15th March at 2.30pm in the Hub. We will be discussing our plans for the next few months and our ideas on how to raise funds for activities within the school. New members are always welcome. We look forward to seeing you there.
