Today on the bench we've got this lovely Epiphone Les Paul Custom - Prophecy Plus owned by of who have just dropped a new song for the first time in a minute, go check it out (preview at the end of this clip!)
- This one needed no major work, great player, just a solid refresh and a little bit of fret addressing from about a decade of pinch harms on fret 3!
Here what we did;
- Strip down & clean
- Isolated fret issue and polished out without removing too much material
- Polished all frets with &
- cleaned all hardware
- Buffed body and headstock
- re-strung with XS 52-10 string in drop C
- Set up with low action, re-intonated and relief set

On the bench this week - this beautiful blue Gibson SG that was in need of a full reglow, setup & service.
So what we did;
- Stripped & cleaned thoroughly
- Cleaned body & Buffed hardware
- Full fret treatment, re-levelled and radiused full fretboard to mitigate fret buzz on numerous frets, re-bevel, re-crown & polished with the & polish
- Contact cleaner and re-pinned pickup selector
- Adjust neck, set action & intonation, restrung w/ 46-10's and tuned to standard

Had an absolute pleasure with today's installment of On The Bench - This Japanese Fender Precision in black sparkle owned by of is only 6 months old and deserved a real day 1, better-than-factory wake up and wake up it did.. Plays absolutely amazing.
So, here's what we did;
Strip/disassemble/clean/
Hydrate neck with Hydrate
Polish frets with &
Slight neck adjustment/relief
Set up action & intonation
And restrung with RS77LD Flats in Eb

Work Done;
- Bridge level
- Frets polished Dremel/AutoSol
- Neck hydrated/bridge hydrated (D'Addario)
- Balanced tuning keys to one another
- Restrung with D'Addario Bronze 80/20s
- Buffed body with polishing pads/Magnus polish

Today we have a baller on the GBV Bench, we have a Noel Redding signature Fender Jazz belonging to of
That has been played hard during it's tenure, so we needed to get to work, here's what we did;
Work Done:
- Clean/Detox w/ Naptha
- Unbend bent bridge plate
- Re-cut pick guard to fit
- Replaced corroded saddle
- Unoxydise pickup pole pieces
- Contact clean all electronics
- Re-seat volume pot heights
- Foam boost pickup height
- Tighten/glue spinning strap posts
- Fret polish Dremel/AutoSol
- Re-hydrate neck
- Adjust neck (under plate adjustment)
- Restring (Rotosound RV77 Flats)
- Setup / action / intonation
