Sports Week in Hazel Class….
Sports Day, Tennis class, Dance lesson and Golf… with football to go tomorrow!

Day 4 - Sports Week. Spruce class has been trying mini golf today. They had great fun trying to develop their golfing skills.

Larch class have had so much fun this week in Sports Week. Their last ever Kells Lane sports day ended in victory for Ruby house this year. The children have loved taking part in all of the different sporting activities as well as continuing rehearsals whenever we’ve not been running, throwing, balancing eggs, striking or dancing. A brilliant week.

Fir have had an action-packed Sports Week. From sports day to golf, tennis, cricket and dance, it’s been great fun. Lots of teamwork demonstrated too. Hooray for Fir!

Maple 🍁 class loved their sports trying out gold this morning as part of sports week. We have some very talented golfers. Watch our Rory Mcllory they are coming for your green jacket. 🏌️🏌️‍♀️⛳️

⭐️ Reception have enjoyed showcasing their golf skills today. We had lots of ‘golf experts’ who were able to name the equipment and explain how to hold the club correctly. Well done everyone! ⭐️

This week Juniper have really enjoyed perfecting their sports skills as part of our Sports Week. They have loved having the opportunity to try golf, yoga, tennis and basketball and we loved seeing all of our friends a family at Sports Day! What a busy week!

Year 2 Beech have had a fantastic week learning about and trying out a variety of different sports including tennis, dance and golf. The children have shown great enthusiasm, determination, and teamwork throughout all of the activities.

We were especially proud of how well they worked together during Sports Day, supporting and encouraging one another while giving every event their best effort. Every child participated brilliantly and should be proud of their achievements.

What an incredible Sports Week we are having so far. We enjoyed our sports day with races, obstacles and the javelin. We have had tennis lessons and a ‘Dancethon’! In Online Safety lessons we have been thinking about what a password is, why they are needed and what a good and a bad password is. We then discussed what personal information is and what should not be shared. We wrote on our hand 5 people who are trusted adult who could know our personal information and would help us and keep us safe. In maths, we have been using part whole models to show how many tens and ones there are in 2 digit numbers to 100.
