The annual trip to Ness this year was a huge success despite the rain ☔️ The pupils had a great time playing together on all the activities 🎡

A big thank you to Sgoil an Rubha Parent Council, P7 Parents Fundraising Group and local councillors Finlay M Stewart and Norman MacDonald for their generous donations which allowed the school to buy 10 new Chromebooks. These will be put to good use to develop digital skills across the school 💻 🤩

P7 vs Staff Rounders & Whole-School Pitch Games 🏏⚽️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

This afternoon, our P7 pupils organised six different activities for the whole school to enjoy on the pitch. There was football, rounders, capture the flag, rock, paper, scissors, chaos tag and duck, duck, goose. Everyone had great fun and it was a wonderful way for the P7s to spend time with all the pupils at Sgoil an Rubha before they leave.

Later in the day, the whole school gathered to watch the P7 vs Staff Rounders. Shout out to the P6 pupils for helping out the staff team! After a fantastic game, the P7s were crowned the winners! 🏆

Well done to our P7s for organising such a fun filled afternoon and creating special memories for everyone involved.

We are delighted to share that we have been awarded the Sport Scotland Gold Sports Award for 2026-2028.

‘The Gold School Sport Award is recognition of your school’s achievements in putting sport at the heart of your school’s planning, practice and ethos.’

Thank you to Mrs LA Macleod and Mrs Monrad who led the work in the school. Thank you to the Sports Committee and the Junior Sports Committee for all their hard work throughout the year. Thank you to all the pupils and staff in Sgoil an Rubha for embracing the work towards achieving GOLD.
