From sunny walks round Golden Hill Fort to wild wet days down in the Forest School garden, everyone has been enjoying the autumn so far! Here’s a few snaps of the fun we’ve been having!

Whilst the autumn sun was shining the hungry ducks & swans came out for some food. Thankfully the children had plenty of oats to go round. On the way back to school everyone kept their eyes open for some juicy blackberries to put in their buckets in preparation for a spot of cooking next week. Other things we have been up too: cooking up some play dough; papier-mâché; dressing up; designing some animals; hall apparatus; and more

Autumn's arrived with all of it's lovely autumnal treasures!
Meandering through the woods there were lot's of beautiful coloured leaves tumbling from the trees, and even a few spiky conker shells! Scattered across the floor there were acorns & shiny brown conkers a plenty for us to collect. We were even lucky to spot some juicy blackberries to sample. What else have we been up too: junk modelling some fabulous creations; digging big holes to make muddy puddles; hunting for bugs; looking at the Isle Of Wight & plotting some of our favourite places onto a map

Bring back keeping cool in the summer sun ☀️ ⛱️ 😅😍

What better way to end the year than with some beach day fun! Followed by ice cream sundaes with our Reception friends! This first week back has been super exciting seeing all the Little Stars Leavers in their school uniforms, enjoying their first week in big school! Special times in Little Stars too, welcoming lots of new friends into our setting ready for another fun filled year!

Tea & scones anyone?! A big thank you to one our daddies who came in & cooked up a super fine batch of scones with the children, it was great fun mixing up the ingredients & watching the scones as they baked in the oven - smelt devine too! Of course you can’t have a scone without a tea party! So out came the fine bone china; and in came another skilled daddy to froth up some scrummy hot choccy for everyone! It was amazing to see how pictures of flowers & hearts magically appeared on top of the hot chocolates, along with some squirty cream & marshmallows! The scones tasted delicious! A brilliant tea party had by all!
