We have had a great response since just starting out. We've secured our first clients and will be taking our first steps in DJing this month. For the students who are interested, there will be gig opportunities around the Aberdeenshire area, and some in Aberdeen too, once you're ready to take on the challenge of playing your first live set.
On another note, we are now open for music production lessons with Ableton Live. Between myself and Liam, we have 14 years of knowledge and experience in creating music from scratch. We take pride in our production methods and will teach you the fundamental concepts of bringing tracks together, along with the most important things to learn so you can create music in a way that works for you.
Our production courses aim to help you utilize Ableton Live to its full potential without the need for using templates and presets. In our courses, we offer:
- How to navigate between session view and arrangement view
- Drum patterns and sample selection
- Working with audio and MIDI
- Sound design basics to advanced techniques
- The concept of compression and when to use it
- Using effects to add movement and life to your sounds
- Parallel processing and sends and returns
- EQ fundamentals and the relationship between key and frequencies in the mix
- Creating kick and bass from scratch
- Automations and modulation
- And much more
We have already conducted some online lessons with Ableton and received very positive feedback from students.👏🏼
