Established in 2009, Heath House Day Nursery is a family owned business situated within a beautiful detached Victorian House in the heart of Fleet. We are proud to offer 100 spaces available for children aged 0to 5 years, an in-house chef, large gardens, a parking area and close proximity to Fleet Station. A renovation in 2012 saw Heath House double in size and the opening of 2 brand new, light an

d spacious rooms in keeping with the House's original style. As a family run business, we recognised the importance of providing a 'home from home' environment, something which remains as a core value and priority in everything we do. With a close knit team trained to the highest standards, Heath House not only offers fantastic care and value for money, but also flexibility and a personal touch that you would fail to find at larger nurseries. Open 51 weeks of the year and with a variety of session and fee options available, at Heath House we go above and beyond to accommodate both our parents and children as you matter greatly to us.

✈️ ☀️ It wouldn’t be summer time without a bit of international travel! ✈️ ☀️

We’ve loved hearing your child’s summer holiday stories and experiences. And for those who haven’t travelled, we’ve brought a bit of international flavour to nursery!

Pre-School have been quite the jet setters this month- from learning to say ‘buongiorno’ and learning to count to 5 in Italian, to truly tasting a bit of Italy with our homemade pizzas 🍕

We then took a trip that not many are able to at the moment and ‘headed over’ to Russia to try Russian biscuits and look at Cyrillic text with some very special story books 📚

Given that our Russian and Italian are weak, we were very lucky to be helped out by our mini and dual language helpers who taught us and their friends how to count and say ‘hello’ and ‘goodbye’ in their languages.

After all that busy travel and delicious food, we all agreed that a trip to the beach would be a lovely end to our globetrotting, so together we drew and made this beautiful display board!

A great summer of expedition- and a huge thank you to all our parents who helped to share their home languages and culture with us all!

🌒 We’re ready for the eclipse! 🌒

For us more ~mature~ members of the team, we remember well the 1999 special (and also the perfect Jaffa cake advert which is doing the rounds on our team groups 🤭).

But for our youngest children, what an opportunity to roll out our passion for the solar system and introduce an incredible concept and new vocab! 🪐

Today Pre-school have been keen to tell us of their learning- such as the size differences between the sun and the earth, why the moon is dark and has rocks on it and what will happen and how we can safely observe the explode! 😎🌒

Nothing solidifies learning like a model and hands on experience!

So we hope you’re all ready to catch the big event tomorrow, whether you were quick enough to get some special glasses, or you’re going to make your own viewing tool (link below for a quick and easy one!).

New sign, hu dis? 🤩 🌱 Our Eco Schools Award (with distinction no less! 🏆) sitting pretty at our side entrance, thanks to our amazing new Handyman! 👨‍🔧 Making sure our achievement and commitment to being an environmentally friendly setting and positive educator for our future conservationists is proudly presented for all to see! 💭 What good environmental habits do you teach your child at home? ♻️ 🌱 🌎

🌈 A very special and ‘full circle’ moment for us this week at Heath House 🌈

17 years after opening our doors for the first time to the children and families that entrusted us and our brand new little family run nursery with their child, we have now begun to receive job applications from those same children we cared for all those special years ago! 🙉

For many of us who are still with the business all those years later, this has been such an incredible and special moment- to welcome back intelligent, passionate and well adjusted young adults who we remember toddling around, patting to sleep or making us proud with their ‘wow moments’. Some were even able to see (and eventually work alongside!) their original key person - for us, does it get much better than this? 🥹

A moment we always wondered whether it would come, and one we are now beaming and basking in as we welcome them in as members of the team that once helped shaped their early years.

It’s an honour. 🥹

So with 2026 being the very first year for this, we wonder now which amazing and special Heath House alum we will see in years to come! ✨

Today on ‘how did the children amaze you today?’ 💭 🚒

Pre-school were discussing their Rainbow Rules 🌈 and what we do in certain situations to keep ourselves safe. Our Suite Leader asked what we do if the fire alarm goes off. The children responded with the right answer to follow instructions and leave the building to the fire assembly point.

And just then one very clever cookie asked ‘but what do we do if there is a fire alarm and the UV outside is too high? ☀️ We can’t go outside?’ 🙉

We can’t fault the logic, or the incredibly advanced critical thinking! And in the open jaw moment, our team were amazed and so impressed with the level of cause and effect thinking! 🧠

AND THEN! to add to this, discussing our lockdown procedure, another little clever cookie asked ‘but what do we do if we go into lockdown and then the fire alarm goes?’

We are so impressed, and more than confident that our school leavers are ready to smash their next big adventure! A credit to all our parents and wonderful team for instilling such rational and critical thought processes! 👏

👩‍🎓 🥳 The most special day of the year yesterday- our Pre-School Graduation! 👨🏾‍🎓 🥳

A celebration of our Pre-schoolers who are ready and waiting for their next big adventure at Big School. 📚

Always a grand production 🎥, our incredible team get more imaginative, more sentimental and more amazing with the ideas and keepsakes that they create for your little ones celebration of their time at Heath House.

Whilst we hope that the last four years has left an impression on them, with new skills learnt and first friends made, we know only too well what a lasting impression your child has left on us all here at nursery. From the first showround all those years ago, to each milestone, each new room and each new key person met along the way- Graduation truly is an emotional moment for parents and the entire team here and we never forget what an absolute honour and privilege it is to be entrusted with the care of your child ✨

So we hope you enjoyed a final celebration of the unbelievable journey that your child has had at Heath House and all the growth and development that they have achieved over the last few years.

As always, a huge thanks and applause to our wonderful team for putting on such an incredible event 🏆

We wish our Class of 2026 all the happiness and success as they venture on to their next journey- and we thank you for the laughs, the crazy stories, the beautiful (and sometimes not so beautiful!) behaviour and everything in between.

Tissue bins are overflowing, but so are our hearts. 💗

🏆 Sports Day 2026! 🏆 Originally cancelled this year not due to the rain, but due to the mega heatwave! ☀️ We were delighted to reschedule and enjoyed a great afternoon demonstrating our best team spirit and competitive nature- with the cutest little gold medals to celebrate! Well done to all our Pre-Schoolers who trained hard and took part! 🥇 🏃‍♂️

We might have been a little quiet on the socials recently 🙉, but rest assured we’re always a hive of activity here at nursery! 🐝

A look back at our lovely Father’s Day stay and play session in June. We loved welcoming in the special men in our children’s lives and treating them to a fun afternoon of biscuit decorating 🍪 , card making 🎨 , small world play, dinosaur action 🦖 , sensory stations 🌺 and story times 📖! and check out these cuter than cute cards made by the children 🥹🥹

Thank you to all those who joined us and we hope you had as much fun as we did!

Next up in the busy social calendar- pre-school sports day, graduation and leavers parties! Our hearts can’t cope! 🥰

🏆 Eco Schools Award! 🏆 We are over the moon to announce that we have been awarded the Eco Schools Green Flag award (with Distinction! 💁🏼‍♀️) 🌟

What does this mean? 🌱 Well, it demonstrates our nursery’s strong commitment to being a sustainable provider; one who factors in green practice, sustainability and a love for the natural world into all areas of the business.

Whether it’s sourcing our equipment from sustainable providers, electing a 💚Green Queen 💚 teaching our children to reuse and recycle, going paperless, doing a ‘walk to nursery day’ or reducing the use of environmentally harmful glitter in our activities, we’ve made efforts across the entire business to ensure that we’re using our kindest hands on the earth and instilling lifelong good habits in our children!

A huge well done to the team for their incredible efforts- and we look forward to hanging our shiny new plaque with pride! 💚🌱🏆

🌱 🐅 Honouring Sir David Attenborough on his 100th birthday! 🎂

On Friday, we celebrated the incredible life work and contributions to wildlife and nature from the outstanding David Attenborough.

To mark this special occasion, Pre-School picked 100 pinecones from the forest area as well as other natural items and arranged them into this beautiful birthday poster! 🍂

We also learned about Sir David, discussing what he does, why it is importsnt to explore and understand wildlife and nature and so looked into lots of different animals that he has commentated on in his documentaries! 🎥

Happy Birthday to a true national treasure 🌟
