🚨 NEW CLASS ALERT! 🚨

Our Mini classes are SUPER popular and we deliberately keep them small, which unfortunately means our waiting lists can get pretty long!

So... after giving it some thought, we've decided to add another Mini Street class! 🎉

If you're looking for a class for your little one that offers structure while still being fun, energetic and exciting, this could be the perfect fit.

Our Mini Street classes are bite-sized 30-minute sessions — just long enough to learn, dance and have loads of fun, while keeping our littlies excited to come back week after week!

We introduce all the basics of Street Dance, including Hip Hop, Popping, Locking and Breaking, as well as working on musicality, coordination, confidence and learning routines.

What did you get up to this weekend?

It's been a busy one for MK DANCE!

On Friday a group of our dancers performed at the Crondall Primary School Summer Fair. Dancing on grass in this heat isn't easy, but they gave it their all and performed brilliantly.

On Saturday some of our dancers (and their very energetic grown-ups!) took part in the Fleet Carnival Procession. The weather was actually lovely, and when it started getting really hot, Miss Melissa had great fun running around spraying everyone with water to keep them cool! A huge thank you to all the parents who came along and supported us.

On Sunday a small team of solos and duos travelled to Portsmouth to compete at the 101 Street Dance Championships. For most of them it was their first big street competition and for a couple it was only their second.

We came home with some well-earned trophies, but do you know what made me smile the most? Even the dancers who didn't place were already asking, "When's the next competition?"

That tells me everything I need to know. They're not giving up, they're hungry to learn and improve, and that's what competitions are all about.

I'm so proud of every single dancer this weekend. You all represented MK DANCE brilliantly.

The weather is getting HOT! ☀️

Going forward we will have a strict no water bottle = no dance class rule.

Please, please send your dancers to class with a water bottle. We will be having regular water breaks throughout lessons to keep everyone safe and hydrated.

Please also dress dancers in light, cool clothing where possible. The studios can get very warm, especially during energetic classes.
